My version of a paint n sip. We partner with local landscape photographers to be able to use some of their best local beach photos as reference for our Paint with Me Beach! class. Each session we’ll paint a different local beach scene by a different local photographer.
We have the materials and the reference photo. Just bring yourself, a drink, and a friend. Lace will walk you through step by step to recreate fabulous recognizable sunsets, piers, and light houses from Lake Michigan beach towns like St. Joe, South Haven, Michigan City, Benton Harbor, and more. You might even get to meet the local photographer!
This painting may involve some advanced painting techniques but you won’t need to worry. Lace will coach you through every step of the way. Suitable for beginners and still fun for advanced painters. You’ll go home with your very own custom beach painting and maybe a couple new friends 😉

My version of a paint party type class where I guide you through painting a portrait of your own pet. There are 2 time slots for this class. In variants you can sign up for either August 19th or September 8th.
BYOB, snacks, and a picture of your pet to paint along with me.
We provide paint, canvas, brushes, etc and you provide a picture of your pet. Digital is great, physical is fine.
We’ll walk you through step by step how to transfer your image and paint your pet’s portrait from start to finish in a realistic type style.
This is a great beginner friendly class yet perfectly suitable for those with years of experience.
*** Important*** The quality of your reference image matters! The best reference image is one that is clear and well lit. You want to be able to clearly see your pet’s eyes and have good color. (Black and white images work too as long as they aren’t fuzzy and clearly show your pets eyes.) Any pose and any angle is fine however we especially like images that are taken from a nearly level angle. If you have concerns about your reference image, feel free to reach out via email. You can also choose to bring a few images and I’ll help you choose the best one in class.
